What to tell us
Tell us your departure city, your dates and times, the size of your group and where in the Valley you are staying. During golf season, let us know how many golf bags are coming, along with anything else large. For a group heading to spring training, a rough head count early on helps your advisor find the right aircraft. If you have not chartered before, mention it, and we will explain how the quote and the booking work.
Which airport you will use
Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport (KPHX/PHX) is the city’s main airport. Scottsdale Airport (KSDL/SCF) is the one most people ask for when they are staying at the Scottsdale resorts. Phoenix Deer Valley Airport (KDVT/DVT) in north Phoenix and Phoenix-Mesa Gateway Airport (KIWA/AZA) in the East Valley are the other options. Your advisor will compare them for the aircraft you choose and the address you are heading to. In summer, the heat affects how an aircraft performs, so the operator confirms the aircraft for the day you fly.
What happens next
Your advisor will come back with aircraft options, naming the certified operator for each, so you know who is flying before you say yes. Under DOT Part 295, when we book a flight as your agent rather than as the operator, we put it in writing. From then on, the same advisor handles everything until you land. October through April is the busy season in Phoenix, with golf season and spring training, so book early if you are traveling in those months.
